Winecanting, the Great Festival of the DOP Alicante

Winecanting is the major annual event of the Denomination of Origin Protected Alicante: a large celebration where dozens of wineries from the region showcase their wines to the public in the heart of the city. Tastings, music, and a festive atmosphere come together to celebrate Alicante wine. It is the best opportunity to sample a wide representation of the DOP Alicante in just one day.<\/p>

It is usually held in May, at the port of Alicante (the 2026 edition took place on May 21). The exact date changes each year: confirm the next edition before attending.<\/em><\/p>
