History
Bodega Las Virtudes was founded on August 3, 1961, in Villena, a municipality in the Vinalopó region of Alicante province. Since its inception, it has been dedicated to producing quality wines that reflect the richness of the Denomination of Origin Protected (DOP) Alicante.
In 1972, the winery took a significant step by acquiring oak barrels, which became an essential part of its winemaking process, elevating its products' profile in a setting steeped in winemaking tradition. The DOP Alicante is characterized by its emblematic red variety, Monastrell, which is widely cultivated in the region.
In this context, Bodega Las Virtudes is committed to quality and sustainability, aligning with the current trend towards organic production.
