Bodega Teulada

History

Bodega Teulada was born from the enthusiasm of a group of farmers passionate about the Marina Alta in the 1960s. In this corner of the province of Alicante, where the Mediterranean climate caresses the vineyards, they sought to merge tradition and modernity in a wine world that has always been present in the community.

The history of the winery is closely linked to the rich wine tradition of the region, where Moscatel de Alejandría dances among the vines, creating wines with character and authenticity. Teulada is located in the Marina Alta region, an area recognized for its wine production, within the Protected Designation of Origin (DOP) Alicante.

This DOP is famous not only for its Moscatel but also for its emblematic red variety, Monastrell, which has been cultivated in these lands since time immemorial, resulting in wines with their own personality. Bodega Teulada, in this context, adopts the philosophy that without a past, the future cannot be built, valuing each bunch they harvest as part of their history.

With a production line that combines innovation and respect for roots, the winery offers products that reflect the environment where they are made. The dedication to viticulture has allowed these farmers to create a legacy that is perpetuated through each bottle, in a sensory journey that connects visitors with the essence of the region and its wine traditions.

Philosophy

Bodega Teulada is based on the combination of tradition and innovation, ensuring that each wine they produce tells a story of both its origin and its production process. Their varieties, including the distinctive Moscatel, reflect the richness of the land around them and the cultivation techniques that have been perfected over generations.

With a focus on authenticity, they aim to present the consumer not only with a wine but with a complete experience that invites the discovery of the story behind each tasting. They produce various types of wines, from the fresh and aromatic 'Pitagora Moscatel Frizzante' to the more robust 'Vino Tinto Llum de Lluna', covering a wide range that allows visitors to enjoy the many facets of wine production in Teulada.

With each glass, the winery invites you to experience the essence of the local landscape and the savoir-faire of its dedicated grape growers.

The vineyard

The vineyard of Bodega Teulada is set in a beautiful coastal landscape of the Marina Alta, where the Mediterranean climate plays a vital role in the development of the vines. Here, sunny days and cool nights create the perfect conditions for the growth of varieties such as Moscatel de Alejandría, which adapts to the typicality of the soil and microclimate.

Amid hills and sea views, the vineyards shine with their intense green, promising a harvest that combines quality and respect for the environment. The landscape, with its mix of mountains and coast, provides an ideal setting for the dry-farmed vineyards cultivated in the region.

The farmers in the area work in harmony with nature, using traditions that have endured over time and combining them with modern approaches, ensuring that each harvest reflects the terroir surrounding it. This balance between tradition and innovation translates into wines that tell a unique story, connecting the taster with the landscape that originated them.
