History
The La Romana Cooperative Winery was founded in 1964 and brings together vintners from the town and neighboring villages.
In 2002, it modernized its facilities —with self-emptying systems and pneumatic presses— to improve the quality and production capacity.
Philosophy
It produces wines with DOP Alicante under brands such as Marqués de La Romana, Marqués de Benaesa, and Campos de Oro.
