History
Bodegas Murviedro, located in Requena, is part of Bodegas Schenk, which began its journey in Spain in 1927.
Since its first facilities in Alicante in 1929, the winery has witnessed the development of wine in the region. Over the years, the DOP Alicante has gained recognition for its diversity in grape varieties, from the emblematic Monastrell to sweet flavors like Moscatel de Alicante.
In 2002, Bodegas Murviedro was founded, marking a new chapter in this winemaking tradition, with its first objective being to keep alive the history of Alicante viticulture, celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2017.
Philosophy
