History
Bodegas Volver was founded in 1995 in Pinoso, a municipality in the Vinalopó region, famous for its rich winemaking tradition. This area is part of the DOP Alicante, recognized for its emblematic variety, Monastrell, and for the production of wines that have been appreciated throughout history, such as Fondillón.
With a lineage spanning five generations, the winery pursues a single objective: to produce wines worthy of being shared, reflecting the vinicultural culture of its region and the efforts of a family legacy in viticulture. The work of Bodegas Volver is framed within a context where the Monastrell variety plays a fundamental role.
This type of grape, characteristic of the area, is integrated into the winery's philosophy, which opts for organic farming practices, developing wines that are not only a reflection of the land but also of their commitment to the environment. The winery presents itself as an open door to wine culture, offering its visitors a connection to the winemaking traditions of Alicante and its gastronomy.
Pinoso and its surroundings offer a viticultural landscape that combines mountains and plains, where vineyards often grow in dry farming conditions, favored by a Mediterranean climate. This combination of tradition and natural environment creates a conducive atmosphere for the cultivation of varieties like Merseguera and Chardonnay, which complement the emblematic Monastrell, ensuring visitors a unique wine experience in the Alicante region.
Philosophy
The philosophy of Bodegas Volver is rooted in a profound respect for the culture of wine and the land that produces it. Committed to 100% organic production, they utilize sustainable practices that include the use of renewable energy.
This translates into wines that are not only a pleasure for the palate but also respect the environment, bringing quality and authenticity to each bottle. The wines crafted at the winery are a clear representation of this local tradition.
Varieties such as Tempranillo, cultivated in the region, and blends of typical grapes like Chardonnay and Merseguera, manifest in their white and red wines. From Tarima Hill Lias to Volver Cuvée, each wine carries a piece of the winemaking history of Alicante, connecting family heritage to the passion for crafting quality wines.
The vineyard
The vineyard of Bodegas Volver is located in the lands of Pinoso, where sandy and poor soils favor the development of high-quality grapes. The plants, cultivated with organic methods, thrive in the Mediterranean climate characteristic of the region, with warm summers and moderately cool winters, creating ideal conditions for the growth of local varieties.
This attention to environment and sustainability are values that the winery has embraced since its foundation. The viticultural landscape is a delight to the eyes, as it stretches between gentle hills and plains that offer panoramic views.
Dry farming practices add a special charm, showcasing the resilience and commitment of the land in producing wines rich in flavor and character. This environment invites visitors to enjoy not only the wines but also the natural beauty surrounding this emblematic winery.
