History
Celler La Muntanya is an artisan winery located in Setla de Nunyes, within the municipality of Muro de Alcoy (El Comtat). It was born with the mission of reclaiming the small-scale viticulture of the Alicante mountains, working with more than twenty-five small plots of traditional grapes, with vines ranging from 5 to 80 years old and an average altitude close to 550 meters.<\/p>
Philosophy
Its philosophy is rooted in the territory and in the small mountain vineyards, focusing on artisanal production, recovering local varieties, and seeking a wine with soul. In addition to wines, it produces vermouth and extra virgin olive oil, and also runs the 'Vi i Amics' project, allowing individuals to sponsor a small vineyard and produce their own wine.<\/p>
The vineyard
It works with more than twenty-five smallholdings of traditional grapes spread across the Alicante mountains, featuring old vines and a viticulture aimed at recovering the landscape and vineyards.<\/p>
