History
Finca Mont Roig was established in 2013 in the Pedreguer area, in Marina Alta, on a unique plot at the foot of Montgó and near l'Alt de Benimaquia, one of the sites where the Iberians developed the cultivation of the vine and the production of wine. Its owners gradually acquired adjoining plots to create a vineyard estate of about two hectares dedicated to viticulture.

Philosophy
It produces natural wines, without added sulfites and with native yeasts, avoiding interventions or additives. The vineyard is cultivated organically, without chemical fertilizers or herbicides, maintaining ground cover throughout the year to prevent erosion and contribute organic matter to the soil. It is a holistic project based on circular economy, sustainable agriculture, and regenerative viticulture.

The vineyard
The land is clayey, deep, and has a high degree of limestone. The Mediterranean climate, the orientation of the estate, and the soil have led to a commitment to Chardonnay, which here produces dry, fresh, and unique wines, accompanied by small plantings of Viognier, Muscat of Alexandria, and Syrah.
