eulada, with its Mediterranean climate and landscapes of dry-farmed vineyards, benefits from ideal conditions for viticulture. Montesanco produces wines that encapsulate this tradition, utilizing old native vines and techniques that highlight the authenticity of their environment.

The winery seeks to capture the essence of Alicante in its products, integrating the characteristics of the land and the unique varieties of the region.

Montesanco's wines are not only a representation of the terroir but also stand out for their ecological and biodynamic production, aligning with current trends in winemaking.

This reinforces the winery's commitment to sustainability, providing an even closer link between the wine and its origins in the region.

Philosophy

Montesanco's philosophy is based on biodynamic and vegan winemaking, reflecting a respectful and conscious approach to nature.

The winery specializes in single-varietal wines from old vines, which are a heritage of traditional winemaking practices in the area.

In its production, native varieties take center stage, such as Bobal, which is featured in their reds 'MÓN MONASTRELL' and 'MÓN BOBAL'.

The use of grapes certified as organic underscores Montesanco’s commitment to sustainable practices, contributing to the health of the terroir.

Additionally, their offering includes Moscatel wines, a standout variety in Alicante, which reflect the sweet and aromatic profiles that have captivated generations of wine lovers.

The vineyard

The Montesanco vineyard is located in a terrain that combines the Mediterranean climate with an impressive natural environment, typical of the La Marina Alta region.

This viticultural landscape is characterized by its beauty and diversity, where vineyards coexist with mountains and a coastal setting that offers spectacular views.

The climatic conditions, along with the type of soil, are ideal for cultivating native varieties that give life to the winery's wines.

The way in which the vines are cultivated in dry farming, taking advantage of the scarce rainfall in the region, allows the plants to adapt and concentrate flavors, bringing the authenticity of the terroir to the wine.

This connection between the vineyard and the landscape becomes a central aspect of the enological experience at Montesanco, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the rich winemaking heritage of the place.
