History
Viñavista Agricultural Society, located in the DOP Alicante, is grounded in Mr. Ruiz Marco's passion for agriculture, who in the 1980s decided to create Finca Viñavista.
Since its construction in 2000, the winery has been a benchmark in the region, developing a production committed to the land and viticultural tradition. The family-owned winery has been managed by three generations, allowing it to consolidate its viticultural legacy in a privileged environment of the Alicante province.
The DOP Alicante is characterized by its diversity of varieties. Among them, Monastrell stands out, which gives life to emblematic wines like Fondillón, a vintage wine with centuries of history.
This type of wine, appreciated in European courts since the Renaissance, reflects the rich winemaking tradition of the area, where Viñavista fits perfectly, contributing to the revival of these practices. The estate, which spans over 1000 hectares, extends across a landscape that combines both inland and coastal areas, allowing for the cultivation of different varieties that adapt to the Mediterranean climate.
Thus, the winery is not only a production space but also a testament to its founders' commitment to the winemaking culture of Alicante.
Philosophy
At Viñavista, every detail of the winemaking process is carefully attended to, from the vine to the bottle. This winery adheres to a philosophy of respect for the land and the environment, which translates into sustainable agricultural practices and a commitment to organic production.
The cultivated varieties, such as Moscatel de grano menudo and Garnacha Tintorera, reflect the richness and diversity of the region, essential elements in its wine offerings. Among its creations, notable wines include "Capricho del Carrascal" and the rosé "Carmen".
The combination of these varieties reflects the pursuit of creating wines that not only represent the terroir but also honor the winemaking traditions of Alicante that have persisted over the years.
The vineyard
The vineyards of Bodega Viñavista are situated in a vibrant landscape where the sun and Mediterranean climate provide ideal conditions for grape cultivation. This combination of climatic and geographical factors not only favors the production of high-quality grapes but also creates a visually appealing environment, with mountains bordering the vineyards and the aroma of native plants filling the air.
The estate is located in the Vinalopó region, known for its varied terrain that ranges from gentle hills to extensive cultivated areas. This natural environment enriches the flavor of the produced wines while offering a unique visual and sensory experience to those who visit the winery.
