The Bodega Santa Catalina del Mañán, located in Monóvar, was founded in 1962 thanks to the initiative of around thirty local farmers. Since its beginnings, the winery has been committed to producing wines that reflect the authenticity of the Alicante region.
Nestled in a wine-producing area rich in tradition, Santa Catalina del Mañán falls within the Protected Designation of Origin (DOP) Alicante, known for its characteristic wines that highlight Monastrell as its emblematic variety. Monóvar, in the Vinalopó region, has a winemaking legacy that dates back centuries, with Fondillón, an aged red wine made from overripe Monastrell grapes, being one of its most valued products.
